Art Bridge Evolve
Breaking Barriers . Enabling Artists
Art Bridge Evolve was Art Shape's innovative creative project. It consisted of a programme of creative development for artists who face disabling barriers and wished to develop or progress their artistic career.
The programme was part time and available through face to face participation or online.
Art Bridge Evolve Exhibitions
January - February 2019: Odyssey
9th January - 12th February 2019 at Gloucester Cathedral
A group show of painting, mixed media, sound works and installation throughout Gloucester Cathedral. This exhibition comprised of work made by Art Bridge artists and Art Shape associates.
October 2018: RE Collections
at Museum in the Park, Stroud
An exhibition of painting, mixed media, sound works and installation made in response to the Museum in the Park's collection and surrounding landscape by artists on the Art Bridge Evolve programme.

Duration: March - December 2018
The Art Bridge Evolve programme was accessed face to face or online and offered:
- Support to develop your practice through access to a mentor
- Opportunity to produce work for site-specific exhibitions
- Support to build your online presence
- Curation training
- Artist Talks
- Workshops
- Extend Networks
Face to Face
Those on the face to face programme gained experience working in Art Shape's accessible studio space, received tutorials and access to Adult Education courses and workshops and worked alongside the Artist in Residence Dr Jim Brook.
Online
Participants on the online programme have had access to filmed artist talks, online resources, discussion groups, workshops and Adult Education courses.
