My work embraces the beautiful world around us. The amazing colours of nature that are found in the birds, the bees, the fauna and flora that surrounds us.

Through my love of hand embroidery and using a selection of mixed materials, I create handmade, individual and unique pieces. I love to use a needle and thread as much as I love to put paint on paper or indeed fabric, so knowing that I can combine the two.... perfect!

I find myself engrossed in the different embroidery techniques that I can use to create the intricate detail on a robin or a flower of my own design. The possibilities feel end- less.

I was born in Lancashire and now live in Gloucestershire, with my heart in both places, I can often be seen being taken for a walk by my two beloved Wire Fox Terriers, Hetty and Hector who also never cease to inspire me
