Arts Inc

Welcome to the Arts Inc Partnership

The Arts Inc partnership provides a non-judgemental ‘space’ (virtual and/or physical) for peer and leadership support – where, as disabled and non-disabled professionals, we question, share and reflect on our experiences and learning.

We support each other to:

  • improve and extend inclusion of disabled participants and artists, and
  • embed understanding of the artistic value of a more diverse arts workforce

Want to get involved?

We welcome new partners who would like to join us on the route towards best inclusive practice (from within or outside Gloucestershire). See contact details below.

The Elevate Project:

The partnership and its activities were developed in 2018 through investment from Arts Council England’s Elevate fund, which was designed to strengthen the resilience of arts organisations which demonstrate that they make a significant contribution to the Creative Case for Diversity.

Underpinning The Creative Case is the fact that diversity and equality are crucial to the arts and culture because they release the true potential of our nation’s artistic and cultural talent – from every background.
